DOCK  DOGS 

AKC  began  recognizing  dock  titles  in  June  of  2014.  I  personally  didn't  try  this  sport  until  July  of  2018.  After  seeing  how  much  fun  my  two  pups  had  swimming  in  the  pond  at  the  dog  park,  I  decided  to  go  see  if  they  would  jump  off  a  dock  ( up  over  a  clear  pool )  and  they  did.  This  was  a  perfect  sport  for  my  young  pups  and  they  both  got  their  Junior  Dock  Title  right  after  turning  6  months  of  age ( which  is  the  earliest  age  dogs  can  be  entered for  a  dock  title ).  

After  seeing  how  much  fun  they  had  in  the  water,  we  put  up  our  very  first  pool  so  we  could  play  with  them  in  it.  Living  in  Texas,  this  is  fantastic  summer-time  exercise  for  dogs  and  a  refreshing  way  for  us  to  cool  down  too.  

Justin  earned  his  Dock  "Junior"  title  at  6  months  of  age. This  is  one  of  his  most  

favorite  activities.  In  2019  he  earned  his  Dock Senior Advanced  ( DSA )  title  at  19  months  of  age  and  finished  #5  ( of  57 )  in  Mini  American  Shepherds  for  distance  jumping  average.  He  also  received  an  invitation  to  the  2019  year  end  Finals.  

In  2022  Justin  earned  his  DSX2  ( Dock  Senior  Excellent  for  the  2nd  time ). 

Dazzle  went  to  her  first  dock  diving  competition  in  2018  and  jumped  in  5  splashes  to  earn  her  Dock  "Junior"  title.  Dazzle  was  our  2nd  PRIZM  Aussie  to  get  a  dock  title . . . her  daughter  Spirit  (below)  was  first.  

Reason   earned  his  Junior  ( DJ )  title  in  2018  at  7  months  of  age  with  5  jumps. 

Reason is  a  litter  brother  to  Justin  ( above ). 

Trekker  earned  two  titles  ( Novice  and  Junior )  in  his  first  10  jumps  during  his  first  trial  weekend  in  2019,  at  just  7  months  of  age.    

Spirit  earned  her "Junior" Title at  6  months  of  age  and  her  "Senior" Title  at  

7  months. She  then  took  the  remainder  of  the  season  to  heal  from  her  spay  

and  hematoma  ear  surgery.  

Baker  earned  his  Junior  title  at  his  first  dock  trial  in  2018  at  12  months  of  age.  Baker  earned  two  ADVANCED  titles  in  2019  ( DJA  and  DSA ).  He  also   finished  #7  ( of  57 )  in  Mini  American  Shepherds  in  2019  for  his  distance  jumping  average  and  in  the  2020  season  he  finished  #8  ( of 68 ). 

Baker  is  the  sire  of  the  following  4  titled  FLAGTREE  diving  dogs -  Sunny  is  the  mom.

​S'more  earned  her  Dock  Novice  title  in  2022.

Keeper  earned  a  Novice  title  in  2019  at  just  8  months  of  age. 

Mia   ( owned  by  Karen Cooper ) was  the  first  of  our  FLAGTREE  dogs  to  get  an   AKC  Dock  Title.  The  below  photo  was  taken  at   the   2016  MASCUSA  Nationals.

Reese  earned  his  Dock  Junior  title  on  his  2nd  day  to  jump.  His  first  time  to  trial  was  at  the  MASCUSA  Nationals  in  2021.  

Geordi  earned  his  Dock  Junior  title  on  his  7th  jump ...  which  was  less  than  2  weeks  after  his  very  first  time  to  swim.  Above  photo  from  his  first  trial.  He  caught  onto  this  game  quickly.  Geordi  is  a  litter  brother  to  Trekker  ( above ).

Shadow  is  a  fun-loving  California  dude  who  gets  to  participate  in  several  different  sports  with  his  owners.  Shadow  has  his  Novice  and  Junior  Titles. 

Queenie  earned  her  Dock  Junior  title  with  her  first  5  jumps  at  just  6  months  old. 

She  then  went  back  out  the  next  season  and  earned  her  Advanced  title  ( DJA )  at  17  months  of  age  with  all  Junior  length  jumps

Queenie  is  a  half  sister  to  the  three  black-tri  Sunny  kids  shown  above. 

Razz  earned  his  Novice  (DN)  title  at  his  2nd  trial  in  2022  at  9  months  of  age.   Razz  is  a  son  of  Keeper  ( shown  above ).  

Checkers  earned  her  Junior  (DJ)  title  at  her  first  trial  in  2023  at  just  6  months  of  age.   

Twix   earned  her  Junior  &  Senior  titles  in  2022.
