PRIZM'S  GOOD  CLEAN  FUN 

                    " Checkers " 

AKC :  DJ,  RATN,  FITB

ASCA :  3  "Classic"  length  jumps  at  2023  ASCA  Nationals  ( 10 mos ). 

I  came  up  with  her  registered  name  because  she  loved  to  play  in  the  water  as  soon  as  she  discovered  the  water  bowl  at  3  weeks  old.  

However,  water-play  is  not  such  a  clean  activity  and  she  always  seems  to  be  wet  and  dirty.  Her  call  name  just  fit  because  she  is  sort  of  checkered,  but  also  a  game  of  checkers  should  be  good  clean  fun.   

I  often  call  her  "Chubby Checkers",  but  her  "baby  fat"  hasn't  slowed  her  down  much. 

She  earned  her  first  dock  title  just  after  turning  6  months  of  age.  Such  a  fun  girl.  So  much  like  her  mama  in  personality,  but  also  inherited  a  couple  of  her  daddy's  traits, like  carrying  around  her  food  bowl ... LOL.  

She  never  went  to  a  barn  hunt  class  or  test,  but  she  earned  her  RATN  title  at  11  months.  In  2023  she  was  able  to  get  in  two  Fast  CAT  runs  after  turning  a  year  old  in  December.  She's  going  to  be  another  fun  performance  dog  for  me.  She's  also  a  bit  of  a  challenge,  since  she  likes  to  open  doors  and  gates  and  come  up  with  games  of  her  own.

Checkers  first  dock  weekend  at  6  months  of  age.  She  jumped  8  times  and  had  7  Junior  jumps  for  her  title.
