Collette was my son's junior showmanship dog. He showed her in ASCA a few times and in the 4-H shows before Aussies were accepted into AKC. Upon Aussies getting full AKC recognition she went on to complete her AKC CHAMPIONSHIP in three shows ..... her first
3 times in an AKC ring ! She was also one of the first 10 Aussies to be awarded an AKC CHAMPIONSHIP ( 1993 ). She then went on to have her first ( and only ) litter of puppies a little more than a month later ( March 28, 1993 ). Her pups were likely the first whelped out of a sire and a dam who were ALREADY AKC Champions at the time the pups were born. We decided to have her spayed after her first litter because we wanted to keep a son from her ( we kept two ! ). It was a very fun first litter and I'm grateful for our time with them. They were a comforting constant when our lives were turned upside down ( for quite awhile ) after a devastating natural disaster.
Three of her six puppies were shown and they completed their Championships in four (4) weekends or less and all were about a year of age upon completion. Collette and her kids
were bred very sparingly, but they were wonderful, healthy, much loved companions.

PRIZM'S POWER OF PERSUASION, CGC / TDI
Poppy was a lovely girl with beautiful movement and a cute head and face. Her white markings were a bit much for the show ring ~ but she was a "star" in her own right.
She made friends everywhere that she went and she was able to
travel around a bit in her lifetime. Click Poppy's picture for details.
Poppy had one litter ( two pups ). Her son Rebel was bred one time and produced Tess,. Tess is the mother to our first Mini litter.
So, Poppy is the grandmother to our first Mini litter.
